Former Blackpool striker Armand Gnanduillet has become a free agent just four months after joining Turkish Second Division side Altay SK.
The 28-year-old was offered a new contract to remain at Bloomfield Road at the end of last season and was linked with several clubs, including Sunderland, before moving abroad.
It’s been reported by Turkish media outlets that Gnanduillet is keen to return to England.
Defender linked with move
After joining Sunderland on loan from Swansea in January 2020, defender Declan John didn’t make a single appearance for the Black Cats last season.

According to Wales Online, Bolton Wanderers are keen to sign the full-back on loan in January.
John will see his Swansea contract expire at the end of the season, yet the report claims Bolton would want to sign John on a temporary basis.

Poyet, who last managed French club Bordeaux in 2018, is the second favourite at 3/1, ahead of former Chelsea and Real Madrid assistant Jose Morais (5/1).
It was claimed last month that Poyet, 53, could return to the Stadium of Light following Phil Parkinson’s sacking but the Uruguayan ruled himself out.
