Stewart Donald reveals his latest Sunderland fan engagement plans
The Black Cats’ owner joined supporters in the away end at Spotland on Tuesday evening, as Jack Ross’ side claimed a 2-1 victory over Rochdale.
And Donald has now revealed that he plans to join the South Shields branch of the club’s supporters group on their coach to Lincoln City on October 5.

Hide AdThis will be the latest step the Sunderland chief has taken to engage with fans, who have struggled to connect with previous regimes at the club.
But while admitting he was ‘not the best’ on coaches, Donald hinted that it may not be the last time he joins supporters in such a capacity.
He tweeted: “I am travelling with South Shields branch to Lincoln if that goes ok then I may do another one.”
