Peterlee Sunday League: Anthony cooks up a tasty derby treat for Murton New Hesledon
Anthony Cook had a day to savour, hitting a four-goal salvo, while man of the match Liam Appleby bagged the other two goals, lifting the Murton side out of the drop zone.

Liam Watson shone for the cricketers, with keeper Matthew Barron outstanding for Southside.
Karl Arkwright bagged a treble as Peterlee Oaklands made it six wins in seven, sinking Hetton Social 6-2.
Liam Adamson, Anthony Longstaff and Tom Gillings also netted.

Second Division leaders Seaham Parkside crashed to a first league defeat, sensationally routed 6-1 by much-improved Acre Rigg Celtic.

Peterlee Central Club’s topscorer, Thomas Bell, netted twice to help secure a 4-2 win at New Seaham Westlea.
