Double call out for Sunderland fire crews as van and building blazes lead to call outs
Firefighters alerted other crews to a blazing building after they were called to a van fire tonight.
A team from Sunderland Central Community Fire Station were called to European Way, close to the Rolls Royce site, just after 6pm today, Monday, January 6.
While on the way, they spotted a disused building in Central Way, on Pallion Industrial Estate, was on fire.
Crews from Marley Park and Farringdon were sent to the scene to put out the blaze.
