Emergency services respond to River Wear after concerns for man
The emergency services are offering a man support after they were called to the banks of the the River Wear following reports of concern for his welfare.
The call out was made near to the Wearmouth Bridge in Sunderland earlier today.
The incident is now resolved, after the teams spent two hours on the scene.

Hide AdA spokesman for Northumbria Police said: “At 9.46am today police received a report of a concern for a man near to the water at Panns Bank in Sunderland.
“Emergency services attended the scene and located the individual, who received support from officers.”
