Hide AdA post on the official King’s Road Vets Facebook page said thieves took two rolls of artificial grass, which they say is worth a total of £1,000, from the yard of the veterinary practice.
It went on to say the grass was set to be used for a roof top garden to provide staff at the practice with an outside place to relax after they have been working throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Facebook post said: “This was to create a roof garden for the staff, to provide them with some outside space to relax in.
“They need somewhere to go to escape from all the stress inside the building that they have been experiencing by working during the pandemic.”
