The following cases from the Sunderland area were dealt with recently at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court:

Lewis Foster, 26, of Belle Vue Crescent, Sunderland, was banned from driving for 12 months and ordered to pay a £200 fine, a £34 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs after admitting drink driving on November 22.

Patrick Lee Cronin, 33, of Shafto Crescent, Concord, Washington, was fined £180 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting breaching a restraining order on January 9.

Darren James Hardy, 49, of St Mark’s Crescent, Sunderland, was ordered to complete 150 hours of unpaid work as part of a community order and pay £970 compensation after admitting committing burglary on June 13, 2019.

Elizabeth Ann Forster, 35, of Ravenna Road, Red House, Sunderland, had a community order varied after she admitted breaching a community order on August 13 last year.

Wendy Patricia Bartlett, 53, of Close Street, Sunderland, banned from driving for 48 months and ordered to pay a £85 victim surcharge and £350 costs after she was convicted of drink driving and causing damage to another vehicle on May 17, 2019.

Stuart Jenkins, 38, of Castle View, Sunderland, was ordered to pay an £80 fine, £80 compensation, a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting causing criminal damage on October 12.

Stacey Stubbs, 38, of Gordon Road, Sunderland, was fined £80 and ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs after admitting using threatening or abusive words or behaviour in a religiously-aggravated manner on January 4 last year.
