The former Exeter City man, who played alongside the Black Cats’ assistant head coach Jamie McAllister, has netted ten times in 24 games for the League Two side this term.

“It’s news to me,” he said, speaking to the Crawley Observer.
"I have heard nothing other than rumours. There is nothing serious or concrete but it wouldn’t surprise me."
Konyar went on to say that while Crawley were in the market for new faces, there only departures would likely be loan deals.

"We're still in the market and we're looking to make a couple of additions where possible,” he said.
"Obviously they've got to be right but this is a great club and hopefully the club sells itself.
