Sunderland bridge protester urges people not to copy the stunt
Danny, 42, from Sunderland, was one of two men who scaled the bridge in the early hours of Sunday morning, Father's Day, to unfurl a 25ft banner promoting the Real Fathers for Justice campaign.
Dad-of-two Danny came down from the landmark at 12.30pm today with fellow campaigner John, 34, from Gateshead.

Hide AdHe said that though he had been touched by the public's support, he doesn't want anyone else to attempt the same feat.
"We had training for six months with experts, before doing this," he said. "Although we wanted to raise awareness, we also needed to make sure neither of us was going to get hurt. We went through training with very experienced people.
"We don't want anybody to copy us without undergoing training."
Speaking of the support the pair had received, he said: "The support has been absolutely amazing. I was surprised at how many women supported us too. We had a couple of women from Roker come down to chat to us after reading the story in the Echo.
"We just hope the Government listens now and gives equal opportunities to both parents. It's an issue that doesn't just affect parents, it affects children, grandparents, aunties and uncles."
