Recipe of the week: Creamy mustard chicken
This is a fairly straightforward recipe for a delightful creamy mustard chicken dish.
This recipe is enough to serve two.
Ingredients:
Mixed mushrooms
One red onion
Two teaspoons wholegrain mustard
60ml single cream
Two skinless chicken breasts
Method:
Chop the red onion and chicken breasts into strips.
On a medium heat add the mushrooms to a dry frying pan, let them become golden then add both onion and chicken to the pan with a tablespoon of olive oil.
Cook for just five minutes adding mustard, 150ml of water and cream.
Bring to the boil then simmer until the chicken is cooked, adding seasoning.
