One person taken to hospital after being hit by a bus in Sunderland on Saturday night
Emergency services were called to Holmeside in Sunderland on Saturday night.
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) was called to Sunderland’s Holmeside street late on Saturday night (June 12) after reports of a collision between a pedestrian and a bus.
A paramedic ambulance was dispatched and the patient was taken to hospital.

Hide AdA spokesperson for NEAS said: “We were called at 11.10 pm to reports of a collision between a bus and a pedestrian.
"We dispatched one paramedic ambulance and we took one patient to Sunderland A&E.”
