It's nearly time again for the ever-popular annual Houghton Feast.

Months of hard work go into preparing for this event to be such a hit with visitors.

The origins of the Feast, which this year takes place from October 5 to 14, date back to the 12th century and Michaelmas, the dedication service of the parish church of St Michael and All Angels.
