A man caught illegally carrying a lock knife in public has been jailed.
Thirty-seven-year-old David Lee was imprisoned for three weeks after admitting unlawfully possessing an offensive weapon in Panns Bank, Sunderland, on September 18.
South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court decided to jail him after deciding that the offence was so serious because of his previous offending history.
