But many Sunderland people will remember the business which was a diners favourite for 97 years.
The business first started in Ryhope in 1924 and later opened in Crowtree Road in Sunderland city centre before moving premises to Park Lane in 1975.
Its final day of trading was in May 2018 and the Echo was there to record the occasion. Take a look.
