And once you do, you will be joining a world of indoor sports days, ice candles, snow art and upcycling as well as fun ideas for your garden.
The Big Neighbourhood Lockdown 3.0 is a scheme on Facebook where people join forces to share ideas on how to stay active during the pandemic.
But now, during the pandemic, Fiona is helping children and adults alike.
She said: “The Big Neighbourhood Lockdown 3.0 is a group with nearly 80,000 members from up and down the UK and it’s a great place to share ideas and find activity inspiration, especially for those with children at home right now.
“I’m all about keeping kids creative."
Let’s have a look at 9 of The Big Neighbourhood Lockdown 3.0’s ideas on how to make the most of the pandemic.

1. A beautiful idea
Make ice lanterns;
Fiona said: "This is another activity perfect for the current cold weather – you just need two containers like empty tins, one that fits inside the other. Fill the outer tin with water, add things like leaves and stems/flowers and freeze overnight if it’s cold enough or in the freezer if you have room. Remove the ice block when fully frozen and you can pop a candle in the centre well to create your lantern." Photo: other 3rd party
2. Snow art
Snow art;
Fiona said: "Creating snow art is a great way of incorporating some outdoor active learning into our homeschooling routines – a bit of art and a bit of science combined! Take the paint outside and use painting tools to create your snow art – or try filling spray bottles with water and a bit of food colouring and spray the snow to create snow patterns!"
Here is Izzy Mcrae doing just that. Photo: other 3rd party
3. Find a new use for old items
Try some upcycling;
Fiona said: "From simple activity ideas like creating a pen pot from an empty jar, to making an old barrel into a gin bar, there’s lots of inspiration and tips online to get you started and you’ll have a real sense of achievement when you complete your creation." Photo: other 3rd party
4. Join something new
Join in an online class;
Fiona said: "As we can’t get together in person right now, online classes can be a real lifesaver if you’re feeling isolated and looking for activity inspiration. There are so many free sessions out there to join in with – from kids fitness to cooking, and learning new skills like signing or crochet." Photo: other 3rd party
